Some of the tasks students will accomplish with Chromebooks:
Personalize their learning experiences
Increase their productivity and engagement in and outside the classroom
Access class content using digital textbooks, eReader, and video/audio recording
Use digital model and simulation software such as PHET
Access instructional content such as Online Core Curriculum (ie: Khan Academy, IXL, BrainPOP, etc. )
Communicate with teachers and other students
Increase productivity with efficient use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications through Google Drive
Conduct research using online resources and primary source documents
Gain access to adapted content and assistive technologies to meet special needs
Create and publish digital content such as videos and presentations demonstrating subject-matter knowledge using WeVideo, Powtoons, and other creative-based software
Take various assessments through web-based tools such an Illuminate
Prepare them to live and work in a digital environment by applying the knowledge and skills needed for future learning and workforce
Model respectful, responsible, appropriate, and ethical citizenry in a digital world
